For an extensive period, I have been an ardent enthusiast of racing video games. My inaugural experience in this thrilling realm commenced with Gran Turismo 4 on the PlayStation 2, a formative era in the annals of racing titles. Titles such as Gran Turismo 3 and 4, Mario Kart Wii and Double Dash, alongside Forza Motorsport 3 and 4, captivated my youthful spirit. I fondly recall dedicating countless hours to these exhilarating experiences—though Forza Motorsport, admittedly, did not quite meet expectations. The release of Forza Horizon 3 marked a particular zenith in my gaming pursuits, and I engaged with it extensively. In my estimation, it represented the pinnacle of racing experiences. While I have ventured into Forza Horizon 5, it does not elicit the same fervor as before. Moreover, I perceive Nintendo's strategy as a mere financial endeavor, repackaging their earlier Wii U titles for the Switch. Regrettably, I have yet to explore the latest Gran Turismo installment. Nevertheless, my passion for racing games remains unwavering, as I frequently revisit revered classics like Mario Kart or Gran Turismo. My discontent with contemporary racing titles stems from their excessive reliance on downloadable content and exorbitant file sizes.
